Hantavirus Outbreak Suspected In Cape Verde
Cape Verdean health authorities are refusing entry to all individuals on board the cruise ship MV Ondius. The State Secretariat for Communities stated that no Portuguese passengers are currently on the vessel. Petrogal workers have requested intervention from the President regarding the situation. As of the latest report, the crew of the MV Ondius has not requested assistance.
