Workplace Accidents Double In Romania
A collision involving two vehicles occurred on Drumul Taberei Boulevard in Bucharest. Three pedestrians and one driver were transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Police have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. A driver sustained multiple injuries after a vehicle lost control, struck a roadside barrier, and overturned off the roadway. A truck traveling in the second lane subsequently collided with the overturned vehicle from behind. A passenger car also collided with the truck during the incident. Road traffic has been halted on the affected lanes. The number of workplace accidents in Romania has doubled in recent years. Statistical data shows that over 70% of victims have less than five years of work experience. Nearly half of the victims have only recently started their employment.
