Polish Students Begin National Exams
Students in Poland are set to begin their Matura exams on May 4. There are concerns about potential leaks of the exam materials. National examinations for high school and technical school graduates began in Poland at 9:00 AM. Approximately 345,000 students are taking exams at a level above the basic requirement. An additional 100,000 students are participating to retake exams or improve previous scores. The current session includes the basic level Polish language exam. Nearly 100,000 individuals are expected to either retake exams or seek to improve their previous results. New data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS) indicates these figures were not unexpected. The source noted that these figures are not unexpected according to the latest data. Robert Zachrevsky, director of the Central Examination Commission, stated that printing began approximately two months ago.
