Poland Denies M-Obitel Access To Digital Identity Services
During central celebrations for Firefighter Day, 298 officials will be promoted to the rank of major aspirant. Additionally, over 1,100 personnel will be promoted within the officer corps and more than 1,000 within the aspirant corps. Several thousand other firefighters are also expected to receive promotions during the event. The celebrations mark one of the primary holidays for the service. The Polish Ministry of Digitalization has denied the company Zonda Crypto's M-Obitel application the ability to verify client ownership. Officials stated the refusal follows a review by the Central Office of Informatics, which determined the application's reliability was not sufficiently high. The decision has reportedly met with a reaction from the company. This decision follows claims by Donald Tukey linking cryptocurrency to Russian organized crime.
