Guatemala Enhances Road Safety and Avian Health
National Civil Police agents are patrolling Route Interamericana at kilometer 30 to prevent clandestine races and accidents. The Ministry of Agriculture provided training on proper bird vaccination techniques in El Chal, Petén, in coordination with the local municipality. Basic recommendations for broiler chickens were also given to improve farm practices and ensure healthy products for market. A man was arrested in Alta Verapaz for allegedly carrying an unregistered weapon while consuming alcohol.
