Wuxi Launches Employment Program For Disabled Persons
The Liangxi District Disabled Persons' Federation in Wuxi has partnered with the brand founder of Scientist Coffee to launch the 'Chenxi Plan.' The program provides employment training for people with disabilities. The initiative aims to facilitate the integration of disabled individuals into the workforce through specialized training and subsequent placement in coffee shops. The program includes barista training courses, where participants like Xiao Ye have shown progress. Yu Menglin, chairperson of the Wuxi Liangxi District Disabled Persons' Federation, noted the program supports employment in new business formats like barista roles. One participant, Xiao Ye, successfully completed the training and was subsequently hired at the Scientist Coffee Chenxi location. The training includes practical instruction on equipment placement and operational procedures.
