Athens Metro Stations Closing Early For Track Work

Four stations on Athens Metro Line 2, including Larissis, Metaxourgio, Homonea, and Panepistimio, will close at 10:20 PM for steel track replacement and 5G network installation at the Panepistimio campus. Additionally, changes to Line 7 of the tram will affect Asklipiou, Voulas, Aktypos, and Sidonos stations, with service terminating at 8 PM from today until Wednesday. During this period, the tram service will terminate at 8 PM. The closures are scheduled to begin at 9:40 PM tonight for Line 2. The stations will remain closed until 10:20 PM, which is two and a half hours earlier than their usual operating schedule.
