Teenage Traffic Accidents Rise 15.5% in Russia
Russia recorded over 700 traffic accidents involving teenagers last year. The number of such accidents increased by 15.5% compared to previous periods. Data shows 600 parents were fined in connection to these incidents. In 33 cases, minors were behind the wheel, resulting in 5 teenage deaths. Similar driving bans for minors were implemented six months ago in Tatarstan, Penza, and Yaroslavl regions. More than 700 accidents involving minors were recorded during this period.
