UPS Trucks Blocked Bus Lanes 25,000 Times
UPS trucks were cited for blocking 25,000 times during the previous year. United Parcel Service (UPS) trucks experienced blockages approximately 25,000 times over the past year. These blockages impacted delivery operations. This issue has been reported in both Taipei and New York. This figure is nearly double the violations issued to Amazon, which ranked second among offenders. Automated cameras on buses captured these violations across 60 different routes. Transit officials stated the issue is slowing service for more than one million daily riders. Other top offenders included FedEx, Frito-Lay, Verizon, and Con Ed.
