Archaeologists Investigate Nazi Concentration Camp Remains
Teams from the State Office for Archaeology are conducting the first investigation of concentration camp remains in Saxony-Anhalt. The site, located in Kali-Schacht, was used for forced labor by the armament industry during the 1940s. Researchers have reported interesting findings from the site and intend to continue the investigation. A local association of approximately 40 active members is involved in the work.
