Explosion Damages Mobile Home In Camping Site
A gas leak caused a violent explosion in a mobile home at a seaside campsite on Friday night. Four children aged 8 to 13 and a woman in her sixties were injured in the blast. The victims were transported to the burn center at Nantes hospital. One child sustained burns to 90% of their body, and two children remain in critical condition. Gendarmerie officials stated the explosion was triggered by an air pressure change when the mobile home door was opened. Witnesses reported hearing screams and seeing people running toward the site of the explosion. A resident doctor was present at the scene and reportedly assisted children who were affected. One child was observed with torn clothing following the incident.
