Livestock Business Acquires 300 Ducks In Vacaville
Approximately 300 ducks were transferred to a livestock business in Vacaville following a county adoption event. Darcy Smith of Funky Chicken Rescue in Vacaville reported that the birds were intended for sanctuaries. Instead, the county made the ducks available through a first-come, first-served adoption event. Smith expressed frustration that the birds ended up with a commercial livestock entity.
