Greek Workers Demand Rights On May Day
The Topos publishing house is supervising the work of Professor Dimitri Calzoni. This oversight pertains to the academic and publishing aspects of the professor's research. On May 1st, thousands of workers gathered to celebrate International Workers' Day and present their demands. The resolution, signed by approximately 500 people, called for Sunday rest, eight-hour workdays, and pensions for those with work-related disabilities. This resolution was later submitted to the Hellenic Parliament. Workers in Greece participated in May Day demonstrations to demand their rights.
