Traffic Congestion, Accident Reported In Kanagawa
Traffic on the Yokohama-Yokosuka Road northbound is closed at the Higashi-Tsu Tunnel due to an accident. Traffic on the Metropolitan Expressway, Kawai Line northbound, Hananoki, and Hanewane Line northbound, Hamakawa-saki, and the opposite southbound lanes are closed in both directions at Higashi-Kanagawa and Minato Mirai. A serious accident has caused a 6-kilometer traffic jam on the Shinto-Meishin Expressway southbound between Yamato and the tunnel. The Shinto-Meishin Expressway northbound has a one-lane restriction due to a disabled vehicle at the Go-ten-ba Junction. Multiple accidents have caused traffic disruptions on Japanese highways. Traffic on the Setagaya-dori inbound lane is experiencing a 2-kilometer backup due to an accident in front of the Honmoku 3-chome intersection. An accident on the Seta-Gaya-dori street's northbound lane caused a 2.5-kilometer traffic jam.
