Iranian Human Rights Activist Hospitalized
Iranian human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Narges Mohammadi was urgently transferred to a hospital due to a severe deterioration in her health. She was transferred to a hospital in Zanjan, where she was imprisoned. Mohammadi collapsed and lost consciousness on Friday. Her husband, Tari Ramani, who lives in exile, expressed concern for her life and stated he had pleaded with Iranian authorities for clemency without a response. Her family was able to see her and reported she is breathing with the assistance of an oxygen machine. She was previously in CCU at the hospital.
