Bus Accident Closes Baltimore-Washington Parkway
A southbound Greyhound bus overturned on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway between Route 198 and Route 197. The accident caused a full closure of the southbound lanes. Additional accidents occurred in the vicinity of Route 197. The eastbound and westbound off-ramps to the southbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway at Fort Meade Road are also closed. Additionally, the Fort Meade Road off-ramp to the southbound Parkway is closed in both directions. The inner loop of I-95 and I-395 in Virginia also experienced closures. Multiple accidents are causing delays on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway South. Additionally, accidents are blocking two right lanes at the Little River Turnpike interchange in Annandale, Virginia, and two left lanes on the Beltway near University Boulevard in Maryland. Multiple accidents are causing traffic delays in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
