Protester Ends Five-Day Bridge Standoff In Washington

The incident follows a similar protest by the same man on the bridge in 2022 regarding the overturning of Roe v. police identified the individual as Florida activist Guido Reichstatter, who previously scaled the bridge following the overturning of Roe v. The protest targets the war in Iran, President Trump, and artificial intelligence. The protester stated he will descend soon, but no specific timeframe was provided. Guido Reichstatter has ended a five-day protest on the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge in Washington, D.C. Reichstatter had been camping in a tent on one of the bridge arches since May 1st. His protest was directed against artificial intelligence and the war in Iran.
