China Launches 2026 Marine Law Enforcement Campaign

The law now allows residents with residence permits to apply for extreme poverty assistance and minimum living guarantees in their place of residence and establishes a single-window processing mechanism. The updated law establishes a coordinated single-window processing mechanism and mandates the construction of a dynamic monitoring information platform for low-income populations to increase audit accuracy. The operation aims to enforce maritime regulations across Chinese waters.
