Turkey Opens 40 Dilim Tunnels In Corum

Minister Abdülkadir Uraloğlu inaugurated a 25-kilometer section of the Laçin-Osmancık road in Corum. The project includes the opening of 40-meter tunnels. The new infrastructure is expected to provide annual savings of 418 million lira. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure oversaw the project completion. New roads and tunnels have entered service in Corum. Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Abdülkadir Uraloğlu attended the opening ceremony for the 40 Dilim tunnels on the Corum-Lac highway. The 25-kilometer highway section connects the Black Sea region to Central Anatolia. Minister Uraloğlu performed the first test drive of the domestic automobile Togg through the tunnels following the ceremony. The Minister stated that the total length of divided roads in Turkey has exceeded 30,000 kilometers and the number of connected provinces has reached 77.
