Prostitution Ring Uncovered In Chengdu District
Police discovered a prostitution ring that had been operating for 11 years in the Wuhou District of Chengdu. The operation utilized a website and had nearly 100,000 followers. Victims were reportedly treated as commodities, with services being raffled off or promoted at reduced rates. The investigation into the ring is ongoing. Victims were treated as merchandise and subjected to humiliating practices, including being raffled off as products or offered at reduced daily rates. The operation functioned out of a brothel where women were monitored constantly. Police dismantled a prostitution ring that operated via a dedicated website for over a decade. Following the National Police intervention, three women received medical assistance and five others were released.
