Impersonation Scam Targets Publishing Industry Authors
A new type of impersonation scam is targeting the publishing industry, with at least a dozen authors receiving fraudulent messages in the last month. Fraudsters are reportedly posing as radio hosts to invite authors to discuss their books in exchange for a small fee.
