Kirike Recognized As Russia's Smallest Indigenous People
The Kirike people have been recognized as the smallest indigenous group in Russia. According to the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs, their total population is only 23 people. The recognition establishes them as a distinct ethnic group within the country.
