PKP Intercity To Increase Daily Train Connections

PKP Intercity will implement new mobile solutions for Pendolino train passengers by the end of 2026. Passengers with full-price tickets will be able to use the PKP Intercity app to mark their seat once seated to avoid conductor interruptions. The update will also expand seat selection options for connections involving transfers. Additionally, the system will send delay notifications directly to mobile devices. PKP Intercity spokesperson Michał Wrzosek confirmed these features are subject to specific conditions. Travelers will also gain expanded options for selecting preferred seats, including connections with transfers. This represents an increase of 60 connections compared to the previous year. The operator will introduce seasonal trains, including the Warsaw-Hel route. Additional carriages will be added to 120 of the most popular domestic and international routes.
