Wilmington Residents Receive Free Eye Exams, Glasses
Hundreds of LAUSD students were offered free eye exams this week through a partnership between LensCrafters and the OneSight Essilor Luxida Foundation. The initiative aims to provide vision care and free glasses to students in Wilmington who lack access. Sophia Caldwell of LensCrafters stated that over 800 people in the community benefited from the program. Many who needed glasses received a prescription and were given glasses on the spot, thanks to a mobile lab.
