Cancer Reconstruction Integral to Recovery for Many Women
Research indicates that breast reconstruction is an integral part of the recovery process for a significant majority of women who choose it after cancer treatment. Nine out of ten women surveyed by Breast Cancer Now reported that reconstruction helps them feel fully recovered and able to move on with their lives. This process aids in grieving the loss of their breasts.
