Dutch Specialists Launch 48-Hour DNA Diagnostic Marathon
Specialists from all Dutch university hospitals are participating in the first national undiagnosed disease marathon at Radboudumc in Nijmegen. The initiative aims to identify the genetic causes of rare conditions that have remained unsolved for years. Experts are working to penetrate DNA codes within a 48-hour window to provide answers for patients. Helger Eindema, head of the Genomic Diagnostics laboratory, is participating in the event.
