Child Dies After Bed Trapping Incident in Vantaa

A two-year-old child died in Vantaa after becoming trapped between a cabinet bed and a wall. The Finnish Safety Investigation Authority (Otkes) stated that the risk posed by cabinet beds is preventable. Daycare facilities are responsible for ensuring safety. The authority also noted that supervising authorities and many municipalities have improved safety measures since the accident. Roche spoke about the rain.
