E-Bike Injuries and Fatalities Show Rising Trend
A portion of cycling fatalities involve e-bikes, with nearly half of victims riding one. Older individuals, particularly those aged 65 and above, are disproportionately affected, accounting for 61.5 percent of fatal accidents. Nearly 3.8 percent of traffic accident victims in Germany were riding e-bikes. Almost half of all victims were e-bike riders.
