Bilharzia Outbreak Increases in Sudan
A increase in Bilharzia cases has been reported in the Northern State and the Nile River regions of Sudan. The outbreak is occurring alongside large-scale displacement in the Blue Nile region due to escalating military operations between the army and the Rapid Support Forces. The first death attributed to Bilharzia has been recorded in the Northern State. The humanitarian situation in the affected regions is described as extremely poor.
