Heat Exhaustion Affects 244 Marathon Participants
High temperatures during a marathon caused 244 people to require emergency medical assistance. One 50-year-old man is in serious condition after suffering a heatstroke. Kenyan runner Maichematov won the race with a time of 2 hours and 8 minutes. Civil protection services in Samur provided medical attention to the dozens of affected runners.
