Vietnam Addresses Medical Staff Shortages

The Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration, has implemented a project in Ha Tinh province to support disease control efforts. The training supports functional departments in analyzing animal movement and diseases to identify high-risk areas, particularly those related to tourism transmission routes. Medical facilities received support through this program. The Vietnamese government is prioritizing the development of its cultural industry, with a recent directive from the Prime Minister said its importance. A key challenge identified is the fragmented management of the cultural industry across various sectors and cities. Future legislation aims to integrate Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) as a core tool for development and to foster an ecosystem for cultural and artistic creation. The policy will focus on transforming traditional cultural heritage into a driving force for the industry.
