Barranquilla Clinic Suspends Surgeries Over Debt
A medical facility in Barranquilla has temporarily suspended certain surgical procedures due to payment failures by health insurance providers (EPS). The entity reports an outstanding debt of 441 billion Colombian pesos owed by these providers. While 80 daily surgeries were previously performed, the clinic is currently operating at reduced capacity pending settlement.
