Indian Seafarers Trapped In Iran For Three Months
A high-ranking Iranian official reportedly suffered a loss of consciousness following a heart rhythm disorder. Iranian Health Minister Safarandi reported that American and Israeli actions have impacted pharmaceutical production. Nobel Peace Prize winner Narges Mohammadi has lost 19 kilograms and suffers from constant chest pains while in custody. Her blood pressure remains at dangerous levels and is not responding to medication, according to a statement from the Narges Foundation. Iranian authorities have reportedly refused to temporarily suspend her sentence to allow for specialized medical treatment despite medical recommendations. Mohammadi was arrested in December after criticizing the Iranian government and suffered a heart attack in March. The International Transport Workers' Federation reported health emergencies involving Indian and Indonesian sailors off the Iranian coast.
