Tornado Warning Issued For Arkansas
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Lawrence and Sharp, Arkansas. A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Ash Flat, moving east at 40 mph. Residents are advised to take immediate shelter in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor. The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for northeastern Independence County, including Independence and Jackson, Arkansas. NWS Paducah issued a Tornado Warning for areas in Kentucky/Arkansas region effective until 12:30 AM CDT on April 28.
