Landslide Destroys Homes and Road in Italy
A landslide occurring in late March has resulted in the destruction of multiple residential structures. A road collapsed by less than 2 meters, carrying away two adjacent houses. A third house reportedly imploded, leaving only rubble behind. Local municipal councilor Vito Parti Piglio described the scene as a nightmare. The event follows an unusually long winter in the region.
