Cooperative Formed For Green Pig Farming
A livestock cooperative in Thai Nguyen province has implemented an experimental green pig farming model. The model is being adopted by various businesses and production facilities to increase product value in the region. In December 2019, a professional cooperative for pig farming was established, uniting households with disabled members and ordinary farmers. In 2019, Chen Gejiang, along with two other university graduates, co-founded an agricultural company. This initiative involves changing production habits to be more environmentally friendly. Farmers are actively participating in promotional activities and have reduced pesticide use. The cooperative's director, Ba Thi Hong, identified focusing on seeds and production processes. The cooperative aims to absorb new technologies to improve its methods.
