Local residents report smoke from the Tuapse fires is visible from Krasnodar and Krasnaya Polyana. Local resident Evgeny stated that residents have begun cleaning beaches themselves following the incident. A fire broke out at the Tuapse oil terminal in Russia early Wednesday morning following the fall of Ukrainian drone debris. Nearby residents were evacuated from the site, though no casualties were reported. The terminal is located on the Black Sea coast and has a daily export capacity of approximately 240,000 barrels. This incident marks the third large-scale drone strike on the facility this month, following previous attacks on the 16th and 20th. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that such actions will exacerbate global oil shortages and trigger market volatility. Mazut fuel has entered the sea following drone strikes on an oil and gas terminal in Russia. Large amounts of equipment including protective suits and respirators are being deployed to manage the spill.
