Heavy Rainfall And Thunderstorms Expected In Vietnam
Heavy snowstorms in Vietnam have caused infrastructure damage and disrupted transportation and daily life over the past two days. Approximately 30 hectares of rice paddies and 13 hectares of cotton crops were submerged. Lightning activity was also reported in Hanoi, Tay Ninh, Dien Bien, and Lao Cai. A fire on February 5th rapidly spread, destroying multiple shops in An Binh city. Nearly 30 hectares of rice fields and 13 hectares of cotton were submerged across various areas. Rainfall amounts could reach 10-30 millimeters, with localized areas receiving over 70 millimeters. The central highlands and southern regions will also see rainfall and thunderstorms. Areas including An Giang and Hanoi City can expect rainfall of 10-30 mm, with localized downpours exceeding 70 mm.
