High Fire Risk Reported In Olonne Forests

RTBF La Premiere Olonne 14d Impact 5
The Department of Natural Forests announced a high wildfire risk in all Olonne forests, including the Fagnes region. A red flag has been flying in the Fagnes for six days. The high risk is expected to continue until Friday, May 1, due to dry land and summer conditions. Colonel Stéphane Bouquette, commander of the SB rescue zone, provided the update. Dry land and summer conditions have increased the risk, though rain is forecast for the upcoming weekend.
