Somalia Faces One Of Worst Crises, WFP Says
The World Food Programme (WFP) reports that Somalia faces a looming famine, with approximately 6 million people suffering from acute hunger. One-third of those affected are children, and the crisis is attributed to ongoing drought. The drought is cited as the reason for the acute hunger in Somalia, with one third of the 6 million acutely hungry individuals being children. The World Food Program (WFP) has stated that Somalia is currently facing one of its worst crises. This assessment was reported by multiple Al Araby Radio broadcasts.
