Lake Eber Water Levels Rise to Four Meters
Water levels at Lake Eber in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, have risen to over four meters. This follows a period of severe drought where the lake's water level dropped to approximately one meter. The lake, one of Turkey's largest freshwater bodies, previously covered 125 square kilometers. Last year, the water level was reported at only five percent of its capacity.
