Alpsee Parking Lot to be Converted to Nature Area
A large asphalt parking lot at Lake Alpsee in Immenstadt im Allgäu will be demolished and redesigned as a natural area. The project aims to create space for environmental education. Plans include planting forest trees, creating an orchard, a snack garden, and habitats for bees and reptiles. The site will also feature a discovery pond with a small pier and colorful flower meadows.
