Currently, 3.6 billion people face water shortages for at least one month every year. By 2100, nearly 73 million people in global freshwater areas are projected to be affected by red tides. This loss is equivalent to the size of Libya. The data indicates a reduction in forest cover worldwide. Despite this, the rate of forest loss has slowed in the last decade. Forests now cover 31% of the Earth's land area, totaling approximately 4.06 billion hectares.
