Romanian Government Announces Aid For Fire Victims
A fire caused by a stove in a residence has destroyed 27 houses in Romania. Strong winds and the wooden construction of the buildings contributed to the rapid spread of the flames. Firefighters remained on site to ensure all remaining embers were extinguished. An initial assessment of the disaster is scheduled for today. The Romanian government has announced it will provide financial assistance to families affected by the recent fire in the locality.
