Caracol Radio Bogota 16d16d Impact 5
Three people have died in the Cundinamarca region due to heavy seasonal rainfall and stream overflows. Two fatalities occurred while individuals were bathing in rivers, and one person died attempting to cross a waterway. Flooding has blocked several road corridors in the municipalities of Anapoima, La Mesa, San Bernardo, Pandi, Anapoima, Une, and Uwala. The regional governor confirmed that risk management teams are working to restore mobility in the area. Heavy rainfall and overflowing streams have caused three deaths in the Cundinamarca region. One individual died while attempting to cross a river during recent rainfall. Communities in Boyacá continue to face mobility difficulties due to road corridor deterioration. Heavy rain seasons in 2024 and 2025 have caused communication isolation lasting up to four months.
