Environmental Project Clears 805 Million Square Meters of Seaweed
An environmental cleanup project has cleared approximately 805 million square meters of seaweed between 2014 and 2025. Approximately 3 million square meters of seaweed were removed from the Sudan region. The project reports having rescued roughly 10 million living organisms since its inception. Last year alone, 438 million square meters were processed, including 416,000 square meters of seaweed and 32,061 fishing tools.
