Mosquito Outbreak Disrupts Residents In Singapore
A Singapore resident has been experiencing recurring crow problems for the past five years, leading to constant noise and even physical attacks. The issue began after previous shooting activities in the area ceased, prompting the birds to become more prevalent. National Environment Agency inspectors found seven mosquito breeding sites in common areas between April 2 and April 9. Residents report a nightly onslaught of mosquitoes since February that has disrupted sleep across multiple floors. One resident stated a family can kill up to 80 mosquitoes on particularly bad nights. The NEA confirmed that both Aedes and Culex mosquitoes were detected. Immediate remedial action was taken and enforcement is planned against premises owners and managers.
