Tianjin Wind and Wave Project Reduces Carbon Emissions
Huaneng Tianjin Clean Energy Co., Ltd. has implemented a project in Tianjin Port using integrated wind and wave power generation. The system utilizes wind power above sea level and wave energy below sea level for efficient resource use. In its first year of operation, the project reduced carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 73,000 tons, equivalent to planting over 3,000 trees. Future plans include developing additional functions to integrate industrial facilities with the coastline.
