Hessen, Germany Reports Increased Waste Generation
Hesse, Germany generated approximately 2.7 million tons of waste in 2024, an increase of nearly 70,000 tons from the previous year. The Kassel district reported the highest per capita waste production at 550 kg. The figures include residual waste, bulky waste, old paper, glass, and biowaste.
