Mining Activities Linked To Banten Flooding
Environment and Ecology Minister Bagus Saputra addressed the impact of mining activities on regional flooding. The Minister said that mining enterprises must maintain ecological balance, noting that areas such as Banten, Serang, and Ampe Island are frequently affected by floods. Saputra, a former Governor of Banten, conducted a field visit to assess the situation. The Department of Environment and Life stated that mining activities are a trigger for flooding in Banten Province.
